Meet Andrew
Piddoubny
(Pid-doob-knee)

Andrew Piddoubny is a dedicated public servant, father, and community advocate running for New York State Senate. He serves as a law clerk to a New York State Supreme Court Justice in the Guardianship Part, where he works to protect some of Nassau County’s most vulnerable residents. A proud Ukrainian‑American, Andrew is the immediate past president and a current Board member of the Ukrainian American Bar Association, a national organization of attorneys of Ukrainian descent. Most important to him, he is a husband and devoted father to twin boys, who inspire his belief in building a safer and more affordable future for every family in New York.

Andrew's Priorities

Affordability

Our young people, families, and seniors are being pushed out of Long Island by the  rising cost of living. We tackle this crisis by expanding universal childcare so that Nassau County residents receive the same benefits as other counties, curbing excessive insurance company profits that leave New Yorkers paying higher premiums than the national average, and amplifying programs that ensure seniors can stay in their homes.

Addressing Our Housing Shortage

Long Island has faced a housing shortage for years, driving up costs and forcing our residents to leave.  We need to increase our housing supply through "smart growth" such as transit-oriented development near railroad stations and revitalization of underused or neglected properties. Any development must be shaped by local input and community support because the people who live here understand their neighborhoods best.

Strengthening Our Community

Strengthening our community starts with real and sustained investment in public safety, education, infrastructure, and the essential services our residents rely on.
